Tunisian 201: Favo Tote

Advance your Tunisian crochet skills with the 'Favo Tote' by Wish Upon a Hook. This project uses both Tunisian crochet and traditional crochet. You will learn how to do Tunisian crochet in the round for the bottom of the bag (worked in the honeycomb stitch) and filet crochet (in turned rounds) for the top of the bag. 

Basic crochet and Tunisian skills are required to take this class. You should understand how to do a forward pass and return pass (the back and forth of Tunisian) as well as Tunisian simple stitch. 

You Will Learn:

• Tunisian in the round
• Filet crochet
• Tunisian honeycomb stitch

Materials to Purchase:

• Worsted weight yarn in 2-3 colors 
  • Class sample made with coastal cotton. 2 skeins for the bottom of the bag and one for the filet crochet & handle.
• 5.5mm AND 5mm tunisian interchangeable hooks with a cable connecting the two
• 4.5mm crochet hook
• 8 stitch markers in 2 colors
• tapestry needle
• scissors 

*Pattern is included in the cost of the class and a printed copy with be provided on the first night of class.
