Curious about cross stitch but not sure where to start? Join us for this beginner-friendly class and learn the basics of this timeless and relaxing craft.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
- How to read a cross stitch pattern and fabric chart
- The essential stitches every beginner needs to know
- Tips for starting and finishing your project neatly
- How to choose and organize thread colors
You’ll leave class with the confidence to tackle beginner projects and a sampler already started!
No experience necessary. Need help picking out your materials? Please arrive 30 minutes early on class day and your instructor, Teri, will walk you through it!

Instructor: Teri Hable
Teri has been a crafter her whole life. Some examples are: counted cross stitch, stamped cross stitch, free hand embroidery, crochet, knitting, painting, sewing, beading, etc. She was taught crafting from her grandma Lily and mother Sharon. There wasn’t a craft she didn’t try!
