Curious about cross stitch but not sure where to start? Join us for this beginner-friendly class and learn the basics of this timeless and relaxing craft.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

• How to read a cross stitch pattern and fabric chart
• The essential stitches every beginner needs to know
• Tips for starting and finishing your project neatly
• How to choose and organize thread colors

You’ll leave class with the confidence to tackle beginner projects and a sampler already started!

No experience necessary. Need help picking out your materials? A Class Kit is available separately.

• Yarnspirations Ice Cream Cone Cross Stitch Pattern (Free pattern provided at class)
• Aida Cloth (14 count)
• Embroidery Floss (See pattern for colors)
• Tapestry Needles
• Embroidery Hoop
• Scissors
• Thread Bobbins
• Thread Organizer (optional)

Cost Options:

• Summer Class Pass Holders:  Class tuition is included with your Pass.  Class Kits must be purchased separately and are not included with your Pass.
• Non-Pass Holder: $36 (bring your own supplies, see list above, or purchase Class Kit separately)

Teri has been a crafter her whole life. Some examples are: counted cross stitch, stamped cross stitch, free hand embroidery, crochet, knitting, painting, sewing, beading, etc. She was taught crafting from her grandma Lily and mother Sharon. There wasn’t a craft she didn’t try!
