Needle Felting 101: FACES

Needle Felting 101 --- THIS CLASS IS INCLUDED IN THE SUMMER CLASS PASS!  CLASS KIT (IF REQUIRED) IS PAID SEPARATELY.

Class Level: Beginner

Date: Thursday, June 18, 6-8pm

Outcome: Learners will create a basic pumpkin and add a Jack O’ Lantern face

What you will learn:

• How to select good fibers for Needle Felting
• How to make a small 3D shape
• How to add facial features to the created shape
• How to select felting needles appropriate to the project

What you will need to bring or purchase (we have a class kit):

• Felt pad – minimum 4X4 inch
• Felting Needle Medium (36)
• Felting Needle Fine (40)
• Corriedale fiber
  • 1 oz base color (natural light gray or white)
  • 1 oz covering fiber (Orange this is the outer color of your pumpkin and can be a solid color or a mix of orange/yellow/green)
  • ¼ oz green
  • ¼ oz black

Cost Options:

• Summer Class Pass Holders:  Class tuition is included with your Pass.  Class kits must be purchased separately and are not included with your Pass.
• Non-Pass Holders - Class only: $24 (bring your own supplies, see list above, or purchase a class kit separately)
