Still Time to Make It — Week 1 Crochet
There are still 10 weeks until Christmas — enough time to make a beautiful, substantial handmade gift.
Ma’s Prairie Shawl by Ashtin Martinson is an easy, advanced-beginner friendly worsted-weight wrap with a cozy prairie-inspired shape that wraps around the body and ties at the back. The tutorial-style pattern is easy to customize.
Your kit includes:
- 4 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash
- Printed Ma’s Prairie Shawl pattern
- Leather "Handmade with Love" tag to sew on the finished piece
- Washing instructions gift tag
- Single-use Eucalan wool wash
You will also need: 6 mm / J crochet hook and your usual crochet notions. Hook is not included.
The pattern calls for approximately 700–900 yards of worsted-weight yarn; four skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash provide approximately 880 yards.
Only four Week 1 crochet kits are being assembled, with two curated color combinations.
Part of Warm & Wooly’s Still Time to Make It holiday series: each week we’ll release one knit and one crochet gift project chosen because there is still realistic time to finish it before Christmas.
