Been thinking about learning to knit? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! Over two sessions, you’ll learn the basics of knitting while making a simple, practical washcloth.

When:
- Thursdays - June 18th and 25th from 6-8pm or
- Tuesdays - July 14th and 21st from 6-8pm or
- Saturdays - August 15th and 22nd from 10am-noon

What you’ll learn:
- How to read a simple pattern
- Differences in yarns and knowing what to use for your project
- How to cast on
- Knit stitch and Purl stitch
- How to bind off
- Who it’s for: Absolute beginners—no prior experience required!
Cost Options:
- Summer Class Pass Holders: Class tuition is included with your Pass. Class Kits must be purchased separately and are not included with your Pass.

Non-Pass Holder: $48 (bring your own supplies, see list below, or purchase Class Kit separately)
- 1 skein worsted weight, 100% cotton yarn (Nifty Cotton)
- Size US 6 circular needles (24" cable)
- Darning needle
- 2 Stitch markers
By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished washcloth, new skills, and the confidence to start your next project!
