Summer Tapestry 101

Tapestry 101---THIS CLASS IS INCLUDED IN THE SUMMER CLASS PASS!  

Date:  Saturdays July 11th and 18th (10am-1pm)
         Thursdays August 20th and 27th (5pm-8pm)

Project level: Beginner  (This is an entry level course – no prior weaving experience is necessary.)

Materials to purchase for class:

• Frame loom (available for rent for $15 for duration of class).
• Cotton warp
• Beater or table fork
• Pick up stick (optional)
• Shed stick (optional) 
• Weft yarn in three colors (We recommend Gist Array yarn)
  • One warm, one cool, and one contrast
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Tape measure

Materials Provided:

• Instructor will provide handouts and have samples and reference books. 

Cost Options:

• Summer Class Pass Holders:  Class tuition is included with your Pass.  Class Kits and loom rentals must be purchased separately and are not included with your Pass.
• Non-Pass Holder: $72 (bring your own supplies, see list above, or rent loom and purchase class kit separately)
