Aida fabric is ideal for cross stitch. Its precise, square-pattern weave makes it easy to guide the needle in and out of the fabric to obtain even stitches. With the special fabric finish, it is easy to use, even without an embroidery frame. High quality cross stitch Aida fabric woven from 100% cotton yarn, produced especially for Aida. Gold Standard Aida is up to 33% heavier so it can be stitched without a hoop. Aida fabric is easy to care for and is colorfast.
This does not need to be pre-washed. After stitching, we recommend hand-washing in cool to lukewarm water; no detergents with additives. Iron on low setting and use press cloth between stitching and iron surface.
